• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat, providing therapeutic support tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Encourage clients to openly discuss their emotions and experiences, fostering a safe and trusting therapeutic environment.
• Guide clients in setting achievable therapeutic goals and collaborate with them to develop action plans to reach these objectives.
• Identify and address behaviors that may hinder recovery and provide appropriate interventions to support clients’ progress.

As a counselor at Healing Mind Behavioral Clinic, you will primarily work with a diverse adult population, including clients who may be experiencing situational stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. We screen all clients before they access our platform, ensuring that you are working with stable individuals who present with lower acuity levels. This allows you to focus on delivering quality care without excessive crisis management distractions.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted licensure, fully certified to practice independently as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to build rapport and exhibit empathy with clients.
• Proficiency in using technology and computer skills to navigate telehealth software and maintain client records.

• Prior experience in a telehealth or remote counseling setting is highly valued.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic interventions and an understanding of various mental health disorders.
• Experience working with diverse populations and a commitment to cultural competence in therapeutic practices.

• Competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience and licensure.
