As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to gain insights into patients' trauma histories and determine the best treatment strategies.
• Create and execute individualized treatment plans designed to facilitate trauma recovery and build resilience in clients.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to treat trauma-related disorders.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to aid patients in processing and healing from trauma while developing coping strategies.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic and integrated patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely and effective responses to client needs.
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resources available for continued support.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care strategies.
• Stay abreast of the latest research in trauma therapy to continually refine treatment approaches.
