Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location(s): North Carolina, New Jersey.

Responsible for all phases of data processing system projects, from requirements definition to installation. Lead technical efforts in the development, implementation, and maintenance of complex systems. Develop test plans, software, and procedures that improve processing capabilities. Support productions systems by resolving complicated issues and ensuring ongoing functionality. Serve as a technical expert and provide a leadership role for less experienced associates in the work group. Lead team efforts to evaluate and improve department systems, processes, and applications. Utilize programming specifications to construct modules, develop testing methods, and assists with designing training materials. Design and execute test plans to validate application functions. Design modifications that fit within existing system architecture. Provide technical support to production systems by addressing complex issues, anticipating maintenance requirements, and ensuring functionality for end user needs. Develop technical solutions to unique system problems. Lead major projects, delegates tasks, and ensure quality results. Utilize expertise to mentor and train associates within the work group. Participate in special projects and meetings as needed to convey critical technical insight. Serve as a technical resource for management, associates, and business units. Collect data related to user requests and determine scope, time estimates, and system impacts. Inspect business specifications, programming specifications, coding, test plans, documentation, and implementation plans for accuracy. Provide 24/7 on call rotations. This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location(s): North Carolina, New Jersey.


Responsibilities

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field plus six (6) years of experience in the job offered or as a Technology Consultant, or related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science or a related field plus four (4) years of experience in job offered or as a Technology Consultant, or related occupation.

Requires experience with Solaris, HP-UX, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Windows. Requires experience with Java, C#, Python, PL/SQL, and SQL. Requires experience with Oracle, DB2 LUW, SQL Server, and Netezza. Requires experience with Weblogic, Tomcat, and Jetty. Requires experience with Shell scripting, Perl, Awk, Sed, JavaScript, and VB Script. Requires software application development and maintenance experience. Requires advanced experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or similar code repository system. Requires advanced

experience with ServiceNow or other information technology service ticketing systems. Requires in-depth knowledge and experience with System Life Cycle Development methodologies including Agile. Provide 24/7 on call rotations. This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location(s): North Carolina, New Jersey.
