Actualized Self Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) to join our expanding team. This position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from your preferred setting. However, you will occasionally work from our outpatient office in the scenic town of Stowe, Vermont, known for its beautiful landscapes and vibrant community. • Conduct comprehensive assessments for new clients to evaluate their mental health needs and formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the specific needs of each client during individual, couple, or family therapy sessions.
• Assist clients in setting achievable therapy goals, measuring progress regularly, and adjusting treatment plans as required.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of sessions and client progress in accordance with professional and regulatory guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to keep abreast of the latest evidence-based practices and therapeutic methodologies.

You will work with a wide range of clients including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and other mental health issues. Experience with the diverse populations of Stowe, Vermont, and the surrounding areas will be valuable as you provide culturally competent care that respects the unique backgrounds and experiences of your clients.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) license in the state of Vermont is essential.
• Demonstrated experience of at least 2 years in a mental health counseling role, particularly with diverse client populations.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic methods and interventions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to work independently while also effectively contributing to a collaborative team environment.

• Experience with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or couples, is a plus.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy engagement methods.
• Commitment to professional development through workshops, certifications, or additional training in specialized therapies.

This rewarding position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, a comprehensive benefits package is included, which features:
