If you're someone who sees a project and immediately starts thinking about how to make it happen, this could be the role for you.
As a Project Specialist on our Property & Facilities team, you'll take ownership of major facility projects across Betenbough Companies' home office campuses-from evaluating the initial need and selecting trade partners to coordinating execution and completing the final closeout. You'll also help us stay ahead of facility needs through proactive and preventive care.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, solving problems, coordinating people and moving pieces, and seeing tangible results from their work.
What You'll Do
  • Manage facility projects from start to finish, including evaluating needs, defining project scope, developing timelines and budgets, coordinating execution, and completing project closeout.
  • Create and maintain urgency to keep projects moving forward and on schedule.
  • Identify qualified trade partners and vendors, obtain and evaluate proposals, negotiate when appropriate, and support contract and purchasing processes.
  • Build strong relationships with trade partners while maintaining clear expectations and accountability.
  • Develop and maintain preventive-care schedules for major building systems, equipment, and facility components.
  • Coordinate inspections, routine servicing, and planned repairs to reduce disruptions and extend the life of company assets.
  • Maintain organized systems for tracking projects, preventive maintenance, contractors, budgets, schedules, warranties, inspections, and completion records.
  • Look for opportunities to improve processes, reporting, organization, and workflow efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Property & Facilities team and other Betenbough Companies departments to coordinate priorities and respond to facility needs.
  • Help ensure projects and preventive-care activities meet organizational safety standards and applicable regulations.
