What you will do:

The Project Manager will provide leadership in the management of design, technical and administrative staff on a wide variety of complex projects worldwide.

In this role, you will provide leadership to the team by communicating project objectives, contract scope, terms, and schedule. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • In partnership with the Project Director, Sr Manager and/or Project Architect, you will lead to assist in leading a team, or multiple teams in the delivery of a wide range of projects
  • Oversee and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors
  • Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
  • Ensuring project completion within budget, schedule and in conformance with specifications
  • Reviewing contracts and sub-contracts and assisting in managing subcontractors
  • Monitoring project financials and reporting to the Project Manager
  • Developing and maintaining design schedules for approval
  • Resolving field-initiated questions with the technical design team
  • Coordinating and directing activities among the design groups
  • Participating in and attending design review meetings and recording meeting minutes and tracking action items
  • Coordinating the development of project deliverables with the design team
  • Participating in building and maintaining a positive client relationship
  • Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned project.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering plus a minimum of six years of related experience managing multidisciplinary projects, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Experience with DoD projects
  • Registered Architect or Professional Engineer
  • US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in architecture with 10+ years of relevant experience in design management
  • Proficiency in Revit, BIM, MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and design software (Photoshop); experience developing design reports, drawings, and specifications
  • Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors and services during construction, including RFI responses and submittal reviews
  • Strong client-facing skills with ability to lead client discussions and negotiate project scope, fees, and financial performance
  • Travel capability and proficiency with remote communication applications (Teams, Zoom, etc.)
