• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews to inform treatment decision-making.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address the specific mental health needs and goals of each client, ensuring regular updates to reflect their progress.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care that optimally supports their mental health journeys.
• Engage in continuous professional development and supervision, staying informed about the latest advancements in mental health treatment and best practices.

Your work will focus on a diverse group of clients experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related disorders, and adjustment issues. • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• An active license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of practical experience in providing mental health counseling services, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a remote team environment.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical and legal standards of professional conduct.

• Experience providing counseling in a remote setting is highly desirable, demonstrating adaptability to effective virtual therapy practices.
• Specialized training or certifications in specific therapeutic techniques, such as EMDR or trauma-informed care, will be considered an asset.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client documentation efficiently.
