This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive support to children with developmental challenges and their families, ensuring they receive the tailored assistance they need for optimal growth and development.

Work EnvironmentThis position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing our social workers the freedom to operate from various locations while maintaining close communication with team members and clients. Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children under care to identify developmental needs and establish individualized support plans.
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to create and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring that each child’s unique circumstances are addressed.
- Monitor and assess the ongoing progress of children, offering adjustments to strategies as needed, and maintaining documentation compliant with federal and state regulations.
- Provide hands-on support to families, delivering educational resources, skills training, and emotional guidance tailored to their child's developmental needs.
- Engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues, employing a coaching paradigm to facilitate learning in natural environments.
- Ensure the delivery of services adheres to established best practices, particularly focusing on Natural Learning Environment Practices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including other healthcare professionals, to foster a cohesive support network for families.
The population served primarily comprises infants and toddlers experiencing disabilities or developmental delays. This role is crucial in delivering early intervention services designed to enhance physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. By meeting each child where they are, we aim to help them achieve developmental milestones that are typically reached within the first three years of life.
Qualifications- Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia, as mandated by the Department of Public Health.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration within a diverse team environment.
- A demonstrated commitment to inclusive and individualized approaches in working with children and their families.
- At least one year of hands-on experience working with children in early intervention settings, providing evidence-based practices.
- Familiarity with Natural Learning Environment Practices and adapting strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Bilingual skills are encouraged to better serve our diverse client base.
