Position Overview

Montage Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote clinical team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the mental health of individuals and families within the Long Beach, California community and beyond. You will provide essential therapeutic services to clients, helping them navigate various personal and relational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

As an LMFT, your primary responsibility will be to conduct therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families to address a range of emotional and relational challenges. Specific tasks include:

  • Providing therapy for couples while also conducting individual sessions as needed.
  • Treating issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, job stress, and communication difficulties.
  • Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to improve client outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
  • Participating in clinical meetings and supervision sessions to improve practice standards and share insights.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a wide-ranging client population that includes adults, children, and adolescents. You will address common familial and individual challenges such as blended family dynamics, separation and divorce adjustments, and various forms of psychological distress. By offering comprehensive support tailored to each client's unique situation, you play a crucial role in enhancing their quality of life and well-being.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of California.
