• Conduct thorough assessments of mental health needs and collaborate with the clinical team to develop meaningful treatment plans, aimed at both crisis and long-term support.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans meticulously, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to accurately gauge client needs and track progress over time.
• Work alongside interdisciplinary teams to design and implement positive behavior support plans that promote healthy living and well-being.
• Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes, contributing to the center's commitment to excellence in service delivery.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and community resources, advocating for their needs while fostering partnerships with service systems and agencies.
• Maintain open lines of communication with colleagues to meet contract standards and align with the center’s mission in the wider community.
• Engage with local and state agencies, nurturing relationships that could lead to new alliances or funding opportunities.
• Commit to ongoing professional growth by attending workshops, conferences, and serving on relevant committees.

• Perform additional related duties as delegated by the Clinic Director, contributing to the overall success of the team.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing emotional difficulties, substance use challenges, and those with developmental or acquired brain injuries. Each client comes with unique experiences and needs, requiring a personalized approach to care that empowers them to achieve their therapeutic goals.

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• A valid Independent LMHC License is mandatory to practice in New York.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit to work effectively within a team setting.
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Experience in an outpatient mental health setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and patient-centered care approaches.
• Prior engagement with community organizations or support networks beneficial for client advocacy.

The compensation for this role includes a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year. In addition to base salary, we offer:
