Description

Position Summary:

The National Business Team (NBT), Account Manager is an inside sales position responsible for cultivating accounts with potential and existing customers to provide ALMO ProAV solutions and services. Once a customer is acquired, manage the account, maximizing and growing revenues. The (NBT) Account Manager focus is on small to medium (SMB) and/or inactive accounts.

The NBT is an excellent foundation upon which to build your career with promotion opportunities into the ProAV sales force. NBT members will receive ongoing coaching and development from the NBT leaders.

What you will do in this role:

  • Follow up via phone and email on opportunities generated from manufacturer partners, at Almo E4 events or other conferences, or from direct end-user or Almo reseller inquiry.
  • Obtain information about projects from the customer, manage the Opportunity from start to finish and finalize the order utilizing our AS400 ERP system.
  • Maintain opportunities activities in SalesForce CRM system to demonstrate successful progress of opportunity pipeline.
  • Build strong rapport with customers by phone and email to understand their objectives and develop long-lasting relationships.
  • Build customers business to a point where they can be graduated to the ProAV Account Managers.
Qualifications

What we look for in a candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Sales and/or sales administrative experience preferred
  • Experience in the AV industry a major plus, but not required
  • Proven track record of being customer-centric and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Ability to network within a customer organization to identify all key influencers and decision makers
  • Be able to manage long and short sales cycles
  • Ability to multi-task and exceed customer expectations and responsiveness
  • Sound analysis and critical decision making skills
