What You Bring

  • A bachelor's and/or master's degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction management or a similar discipline.
  • 5-10 years of project experience for a general contractor, trade contractor, or MEP design firm with 5+ years in a VDC capacity.
  • Electrical BIM/VDC Experience.
  • Background in MEP design and managing LOD300-LOD400 Revit models.
  • Strong technical understanding of project management processes, tools, systems, workflows, and schedules.
  • Proficiency in leading trade coordination, running and managing clash detection, and communicating results to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of project requirements and goals and how to accomplish them.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, excelling at developing relationships.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of primary building systems - foundations, primary building structure and walls, mechanical, electrical and plumbing, fire protection, specialty systems, conveying systems, interior finishes, and the sequence of assembly of each.
  • Availability for occasional travel to client sites.

Compensation and featured benefits:

  • The pay for this position is $95,000– $115,000, and the role is eligible for bonuses. The actual salary offer may be different as we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, location, and experience
  • Health insurance with the choice of five plan options. We cover 70-95% of premiums for VIATechies and 65% of the premiums for dependents (depending on the plan chosen)
  • Dental and vision insurance. We cover up to 75% of the monthly insurance premiums for VIATechies and up to 50% of the premiums for dependents (depending on the plans chosen)
