Job description

We are looking for an individual with experience in Residential and Commercial Millwork. Preferably 5+ years in Drafting commercial millwork projects. Must be capable of reading and understanding Architectural Plans. Position will be two parts. One part will be reading through architectural plans and creating take-offs for each item that the project is calling out as part of the scope of work. All of this will be done through our take-off software STACK. If not familiar a training will be provided to show how to browse through the take-off software. Majority of hours will be spent creating Take-offs to estimate jobs that are requesting bids. You will be required to do take-offs for 5 to up 10 different projects a week.

The second part will be on awarded projects you will need to create shop drawings through Auto CAD to receive approval from client. Communication is a key part on this second part. If you will be working on shop drawings for a large or small project we will need to know time that will be anticipated to be spent on said project. Shop drawings always take precedence over take-offs but when you have to dedicate time to create the drawings just let us know what time will be dedicated to drawing for a said project. This is just so we can accommodate that estimates can being continuously produced.
