How much does an apprentice architect make?

An apprentice architect typically earns between $15 and $25 per hour, depending on experience, location, and the specific firm. As an entry-level role, compensation often increases with skill development and progression toward licensure.

Is it possible to work remotely as an architect?

Remote architectural apprenticeships and entry-level roles are increasingly available, especially with the use of digital design tools like AutoCAD and Revit. However, licensed architects often need to work on-site for client meetings, inspections, and compliance with building codes, so remote work may be limited to certain tasks or project phases.

Is 25 too late to become an architect?

Becoming an architect typically involves completing a professional degree, gaining work experience, and passing licensing exams, which can be started at any age. Many successful architects begin their careers later in life, and age does not prevent someone from pursuing architectural apprenticeships or licensure if they meet the educational and experience requirements.
