A Remote Arborist Tree Manager is a professional responsible for overseeing the health, maintenance, and management of trees, often utilizing digital tools and remote technologies. They assess tree conditions, create management plans, and provide recommendations for care, all while working off-site rather than in the field. This role often involves analyzing photographic or drone imagery, coordinating with on-site teams, and using specialized software to monitor tree health and inventory. Your responsibilities include reviewing site photos, analyzing data from remote sensors, and developing care plans which you communicate to field teams. Regular virtual meetings help ensure all parties are aligned on priorities and safety protocols. Effective communication and the ability to interpret remote diagnostics are key challenges, but they also enable you to manage multiple sites efficiently while supporting team success.
