About The Opportunity

Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) is one of the world's largest travel retailers and corporate travel managers, with a strong and growing presence across the Americas. The Director, Commercial Finance - Americas Supply Division plays a critical role in shaping supplier strategy through insightled commercial decisionmaking. This role partners closely with senior supply, revenue management, and brand leaders to unlock revenue growth, drive productivity, and embed financial discipline across the supply ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own commercial finance oversight for the Americas Supply Division, partnering with senior leaders to translate supplier strategies into measurable financial outcomes
  • Deliver robust financial analysis of supplier agreements, identifying underleveraged revenue opportunities and activation levers
  • Support large bid pricing, strategic supplier proposals, and brandled supply initiatives with clear financial guidance
  • Develop scalable frameworks to evaluate supplier agreements against contractual commitments, revenue targets, and strategic priorities
  • Partner with Supply Operations to ensure execution aligns to agreed commercial terms and optimization objectives
  • Identify and prioritize new revenue streams, including overrides, ancillary income, and partnership incentives
  • Lead supply revenue forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and scenario modelling
  • Design dashboards and reporting to track supplier KPIs, revenue performance, and cost productivity
  • Champion AIenabled analytics and machine learning tools to enhance commercial insight and decisionmaking
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of two accountants across the USA and Canada

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • Master's degree or professional certification (CFA, CPA, CIMA) highly regarded
  • 10+ years' experience in commercial finance or strategic finance roles
  • Strong experience analysing supplier or vendor agreements; travel or hospitality experience highly desirable
  • Expert proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Handson experience applying AI/ML tools in a commercial finance context
  • Advanced financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical skills
  • Proven people leadership experience, including remote or distributed teams
  • Experience working within a multinational organisation preferred

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $150,000 - $170,000. Base salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements.
