• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and interviews with clients to understand their unique backgrounds, presenting issues, and mental health needs.
• Utilize your expertise in various therapeutic modalities to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address individual concerns.
• Facilitate effective communication with clients and clinical staff, ensuring that all parties are informed about treatment progress and any necessary adjustments.
• Document clinical encounters and maintain accurate records in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Identify and prioritize the urgency of clients' mental health needs, providing immediate crisis intervention when necessary.
• Continuously evaluate client progress, modifying treatment approaches as needed to support optimal outcomes.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices in mental health therapy.

Your primary focus will be on diverse individuals and families experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma. Our clientele includes individuals who may also have co-occurring medical conditions, thus necessitating a collaborative approach with primary care providers. By seeing clients virtually, you will enhance accessibility while maintaining a commitment to personalized care.

• Must possess a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California is required.
• An active and unrestricted state-specific license is essential to practice independently.
• A minimum of two (2) years of post-graduate mental health therapy experience is necessary, acquired within the past five (5) years.
• Experience in providing telehealth services, with familiarity in the use of digital platforms for therapy delivery.

• Experience working in community health settings or with diverse populations.
• Familiarity with integrated care models that involve collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Proven ability to handle crisis situations and employ various therapeutic interventions effectively.
