18001-1 Remote DevOps Engineer, 6 Months Contract ,100% Remote
Sigma Systems Inc is looking to hire a Remote DevOps Engineer.
100% Remote
Must be USC
CTH
Core hours - 9am EST-3pm EST (Must need to be able to work normal M-F hours (8-5).

Position Overview:
  • We are seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer with 7–10 years of experience to support the definition, development, implementation, and enhancement of complex systems.
  • The role also includes production support for highly complex environments and may involve providing project leadership for major feasibility and business systems analysis initiatives.
  • This is a contract-to-hire opportunity
Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Mid-Level DevOps Engineer with 7–10 years of experience
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Experience with:
    • GitLab pipelines
    • Python scripting
    • Shell scripting
    • Linux navigation and command line
    • Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes or similar)
    • YAML (YML)
    • Terraform
    • Ansible
  • Ability to work standard business hours (core hours: 9 AM – 3 PM EST; full M–F schedule expected)
  • Flexibility to work differing shifts as needed
Nice to Have Skills:
  • UrbanCode Build/Deploy
  • Multi-regional development and release cadence experience
  • API usage experience
  • ServiceNow familiarity
  • Mainframe experience
  • Troubleshooting across mainframe, Java, container, SQL, and Pega environments
