Job description

About Us:
HOF is the Bloomberg Terminal of sports betting, offering data-driven tools to help users make smarter bets. With 1M+ users, a 4.9-star rating on iOS App Store from 7,000+ reviews, and having reached a Top 10 ranking in Sports app charts on both iOS and Android, HOF is rapidly growing.
HOF covers 14 sports leagues including NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, CFB, CBB, WNBA, and Soccer (all major international soccer leagues) with plans to add more sports in the future.
Our team is made up of elite talent from top universities including Dartmouth, Stanford, and Princeton, with an average age in the mid-20s. We're a fun-loving group driven by a passion for sports and data.
Role Overview
As our Project Manager, you'll be in charge of making HOF product development run like a well oiled machine - ensuring tasks stay on track, deadlines are met, and nothing slips through the cracks.
You'll communicate with teammates, be a master of Asana, and test software diligently so we ship high quality product updates faster and more efficiently.
While the role does not require ability to code, you should be familiar with software development processes and terminology in order to communicate effectively with our developers.
Responsibilities
  1. Project Management: Coordinate between CEO/CTO and developers to keep tasks, progress updates, and deadlines organized. Own development boards in Asana.
  2. Communication: Stay on top of daily updates from developers, ask questions to diagnose delays, and flag tasks that are off schedule to get them back on track ASAP.
  3. Product Testing: Test and report bugs / revisions for new pre-release product updates and our live app to ensure we maintain a crisp, bug-free user experience.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree and 2+ years experience in project management for mobile apps or software, ideally including startup experience.
  • Strong social skills. You keep teammates motivated and deliver both positive and negative feedback effectively to establish accountability.
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented. You can't stand when things are messy or disorganized.
  • Self starter who takes initiative. Your to-dos won't always be spelled out for you. You regularly go above and beyond what's assigned to you.
  • Love for sports, sports betting, and building amazing user experiences from the ground up.
Why HOF?
  • Impact: Play a key role at one of today's fastest growing sports software companies.
  • Culture: Join a young, dynamic team with ample opportunities for growth.
  • Learning: Gain valuable experience working directly with the founders of HOF.
  • Flexibility: While the team is currently 100% remote, candidates must be either located in the Boston area or willing to relocate for hybrid work beginning in fall 2025.
