• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs through virtual consultations, establishing rapport and trust from the first interaction.
• Develop tailored treatment plans incorporating evidence-based interventions to help clients address issues related to anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and substance use.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with clients, providing ongoing support and therapeutic strategies to empower them towards recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and refer clients to other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and social services, as necessary, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document all client interactions accurately in our electronic health record (EHR) system, adhering to strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and team meetings to enhance clinical skills and share knowledge with colleagues.

This role will primarily involve working with a diverse client population facing various mental health challenges. You may encounter clients with different backgrounds and experiences, including those struggling with co-occurring disorders, trauma, and chronic mental health issues. Your experience and cultural competence will play a vital role in delivering effective care and promoting positive outcomes.

• Possession of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland is required.
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling is essential, demonstrating a successful history of therapeutic practice.
• Strong understanding of various mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and the importance of cultural responsiveness in therapy.
• Proven ability to provide individual and group therapy through effective methods tailored to diverse clients.
• Exemplary crisis intervention skills, with a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster strong relationships and trust with clients.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and an array of computer applications.
• Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining professional boundaries.
• A team-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a multidisciplinary environment.

• Experience in telehealth practices or virtual counseling methods is a plus.
• Familiarity with culturally responsive therapeutic interventions and community resources.
• Previous involvement in clinical supervision or training of interns may enhance your candidacy.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
