• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, utilizing effective interviewing techniques to gather critical information that informs tailored treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), modifying approaches for a virtual context where necessary.
• Document clinical encounters and maintain precise records in compliance with state regulations, using secure electronic health systems to protect patient confidentiality.
• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals through virtual consultations, ensuring interdisciplinary support for clients.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available, community-based resources, actively engaging in resource-sharing via digital communication tools.

As the Licensed Clinical Social Worker in our hospice center, you will primarily support patients facing significant life changes and challenges. Your work will involve guiding families through complex emotional terrain, addressing issues related to grief, trauma, and mental health conditions that arise in palliative care settings. Our diverse client base requires sensitivity, compassion, and innovative therapeutic strategies tailored to individual circumstances.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid LCSW license to practice in the state of California is essential.
• Applicants should have at least two years of direct clinical experience, preferably focusing on psychotherapy within community or healthcare settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing solution-focused psychotherapy techniques tailored to remote delivery models.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in forming rapport with clients through virtual interaction.

• The annual salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
