Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms affecting clients and their families.
  • Collaborate with clients to design and implement tailored treatment plans based on their individual needs, aspirations, and preferences.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to foster positive behavior change.
  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, exploring various treatment options and identifying effective self-care strategies.
  • Monitor and document client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and support.
  • Stay updated on the latest research in mood disorders and therapeutic techniques to consistently enhance our treatment strategies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards in all documentation and communications.
  • Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives.
  • Advocate for clients within the healthcare system, striving to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and champion their needs effectively.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on individuals and families facing challenges related to divorce and relationship issues. As an LMFT at High Value Counseling Center, you will be instrumental in guiding clients through their struggles, facilitating healthier family dynamics, and promoting long-term emotional well-being.

Qualifications
  • A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients' experiences.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively handle administrative tasks while providing quality care.
Preferred Experience
  • Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to structural, strategic, systems, narrative, trans-generational, and communication therapy.
  • Experience working with diverse client populations, particularly in areas related to divorce and relationship counseling.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
