• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments to gather pertinent information about clients’ mental health status, backgrounds, and present challenges, developing personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual, group, or family therapy sessions, adjusting your approach based on the unique needs and preferences of each client.
• Utilize culturally competent and strengths-based techniques to effectively engage diverse populations and build meaningful therapeutic relationships.
• Document client progress meticulously using a secure, streamlined electronic health records (EHR) system to ensure compliance and facilitate ongoing care planning.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision, peer consultations, and optional training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay informed on the latest best practices.
• Actively advocate for clients’ needs within a collaborative, wraparound care model to build a robust support system around each individual.

As an LPCC at Mentalis Health and Wellness, you will work with a diverse group of clients facing a variety of emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. This may include adolescents struggling with anxiety, adults managing depression, and families navigating complex dynamics. Your approach will be tailored to ensure that all clients receive comprehensive, respectful, and effective mental health care.

• Active LPCC license in California, or an Associate PCC under supervision (AMFT/ASW may also be considered).
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is mandatory, with an inclination towards further academic achievement in mental health disciplines.
• A strong foundation in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required to build rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds.
• A commitment to social justice, accessibility, and advocacy in the mental health field is essential.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in outpatient, telehealth, or community mental health settings.
• Experience working with high-acuity clients, adolescents, or couples therapy is preferred.
• Familiarity with advanced modalities like EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is advantageous.
• Interest in participating in clinical supervision, training, or program development to further enhance the services offered.
