Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the needs of children and families participating in our programs.
• Actively engage in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), collaborating with families to ensure tailored services that support their child's developmental journey.
• Monitor progress and outcomes as part of a multidisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based practices to adapt strategies as needed.
• Develop trusting relationships with children and families, fostering a nurturing environment for effective learning and growth.
• Provide educational resources and support to families, equipping them with skills to enhance their child’s development.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations in all service delivery and documentation.
• Utilize natural environment teaching and coaching models to facilitate learning and development in everyday situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on children from birth to three years old who exhibit developmental delays or disabilities. You will work closely with families to understand their unique circumstances, providing support and guidance tailored to each child's needs. The aim is to empower families to navigate challenges and celebrate milestones, ensuring that each child reaches their potential in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) as per the requirements of the California Department of Public Health.
• A valid driver's license is required for community outreach and family home visits.
• Proficient in the application of Natural Learning Environment Practices and a commitment to continuous improvement in service delivery.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills to maintain a full caseload efficiently.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with families, children, and other professionals.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year experience working with children in early intervention or related fields.

Compensation and Benefits
