What does the E-commerce Merchandiser do?

The E-commerce Merchandiser is responsible for managing and maintaining the product catalog while optimizing the end-to-end digital shopping experience across our direct-to-consumer website and Amazon channel. This role partners cross-functionally with Creative, Operations, Planning, Design, Marketing, and external partners to ensure products are accurately represented, launched on time, and merchandised effectively so customers can discover the right products at the right time throughout their shopping journey.

This leader will report to the VP of DTC Ecommerce.

Job Responsibilities

DTC Product Creation & Catalog Management

  • Manage product creation and integration across Shopify and Brightpearl (ERP)
  • Own bundle creation and maintenance across systems
  • Maintain accurate product data (titles, copy, URLs, tags, attributes)
  • Ensure timely, high-quality product launches (imagery, copy, setup)
  • Maintain seasonal merchandising tools (masters, linesheets) and support marketplace/dropship onboarding

DTC Product Imagery & Site Content

  • Partner with Creative and Merch teams on shot lists and sample coordination
  • Collaborate on seasonal site content strategy and execution
  • Coordinate with imagery vendor on collecting and compiling both single product and bundle web assets ahead of launch
  • Ensure image tagging is accurate and SEO-friendly
  • Maintain up-to-date content across all site categories

DTC Site Audit + Customer Journey

  • Maintain collection pages, navigation, and product merchandising to ensure accurate product discovery
  • Ensure all products are live, shoppable, and surfaced on the correct landing pages
  • Audit the site daily to identify and resolve UX issues, broken links, and technical errors
  • Manage site updates and launches (site flips), including QA and Trello workflow management
  • Optimize the customer journey using merchandising tools (e.g., Nosto), including A/B testing and performance analysis

DTC Reporting & Data Management 

  • Pull sales reports for each location using Shopify analytics and generate location-specific sales reports
  • Pull inventory reports for each location using BrightPearl and compile the data into a spreadsheet for replenishment analysis
  • Maintain item master data to ensure accuracy across systems

Amazon Channel Management

  • Partner with agency and internal stakeholders to drive Amazon growth
  • Manage Amazon catalog setup, including listings, variations, bundles, and imagery
  • Execute merchandising strategies, including A+ content, Brand Store updates, and reviews (Vine)

What We're Looking For

  • 3-4+ years of experience in e-commerce merchandising or a related role
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working cross-functionally to drive execution and business results
  • Proficiency in Shopify, Excel/Google Sheets, and backend merchandising tools (ERP systems like Brightpearl, a plus)
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with onsite merchandising tools (e.g., Nosto) and A/B testing methodologies is a plus
  • Experience with Amazon merchandising and operations is a plus
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs
