This full-time position provides the flexibility to work from home while making a significant impact in the lives of clients.

About the Organization

At Behavioral Therapeutic Support, LLC, we are focused on delivering exceptional mental health care to individuals grappling with complex emotional challenges. Our outpatient telehealth facility specializes in trauma recovery, tackling issues related to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. We believe that specialized, empathetic care can transform lives, and we are dedicated to creating a warm and supportive environment for both our clients and our staff.

This role is entirely remote, enabling you to work from the comfort of your home while still being a vital part of our collaborative team. Our work environment promotes flexibility, healthy work-life balance, and a strong culture of support, ensuring you can focus on what you do best—providing quality care to your clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments using trauma-informed frameworks to accurately gauge client needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to support trauma recovery and enhance mental well-being.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.
  • Lead therapeutic groups and individual sessions, fostering a secure environment for clients to express themselves and embark on their paths to recovery.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, peer counselors, and other professionals to deliver holistic care that addresses all aspects of a client’s mental health.
  • Provide crisis intervention to individuals experiencing acute trauma-related distress.
  • Educate clients and their families on trauma recovery strategies, resources, and coping mechanisms.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatments in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to ensure a unified approach to client care, integrating feedback and continuous learning.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on supporting individuals who have experienced traumatic events and are dealing with a range of trauma-related disorders. This population may include those facing PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative conditions. Your expertise will be crucial in helping them navigate their recovery journeys and develop healthy coping strategies.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience in mental health counseling, ideally with a focus on trauma.
  • A deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and an array of evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clients.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related software used for client management and documentation.
  • A collaborative team player with a strong commitment to working effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in a remote setting or telehealth services is a plus, allowing for a seamless transition into our virtual environment.
  • Familiarity with additional therapeutic modalities and certifications related to trauma recovery will be advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance to support your well-being.
  • An employer-matched retirement savings plan to help you plan for the future.
  • Generous paid time off and holiday allowances to promote a healthy work-life balance.
  • Professional liability insurance to give you peace of mind.
  • Ongoing educational support and opportunities for career advancement, empowering your growth in the field.
  • A welcoming and collaborative workspace that emphasizes trauma-informed care.
