This is more than a sales role—it's an opportunity to build a territory, establish long-term customer relationships, and play a key role in shaping our U.S. presence. Working remotely, you'll focus on growing our presence within the packaging, produce, food processing, and distribution industries while collaborating with a supportive North American team.

What You'll Do

Develop New Business

• Prospect and generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and industry events.
• Identify customer needs and recommend innovative packaging products, equipment, and automation solutions.
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline from prospecting through closing.
• Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.

Build Lasting Customer Relationships

• Become a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their operations and providing customized solutions.
• Develop long-term relationships that drive customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and solution-based sales meetings.

Grow the Florida Market

• Help expand Crawford Packaging's footprint across Florida.
• Identify market trends, competitive activity, and emerging business opportunities.
• Represent Crawford Packaging at industry trade shows and networking events, including IFPA, CPMA, and other industry conferences.

Manage Your Territory

• Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasts, and customer information within our CRM.
• Provide regular updates on pipeline activity and market intelligence.
• Collaborate with Operations, Customer Care, Purchasing, and Leadership to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Other duties assigned by your manager

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is driven, curious, and enjoys building relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven success in B2B sales with a history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Experience selling packaging products, industrial products, automation, or solutions into the produce, food processing, food distribution, manufacturing, or related industries is preferred.
• Strong business development and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growing a new market.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline is considered an asset.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is considered an asset.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel throughout Florida.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a valid passport for occasional international travel (training, trade shows etc).
