Patient Care Coordinator (Bilingual English/Spanish Required)

We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our dynamic medical team. This vital role is responsible for ensuring seamless communication and coordination between patients, healthcare providers, and office staff. The Patient Care Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that their healthcare needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage patient records, including updates to electronic health records (EHR).

  • Utilize computerized systems to manage patient information, including health information management and medical office software.

  • Provide support to medical reception staff, including answering patient calls, scheduling appointments, handling insurance-related inquiries, and preparing for patient visits.

  • Assist Spanish-speaking patients by providing interpretation and communication support between patients and healthcare providers.
