This is a remote position, enabling you to work from the comfort of your own home while effectively contributing to our outpatient services. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals who are just as committed to delivering exceptional care as you are. • Conduct detailed psychosocial assessments to identify the therapeutic needs of clients and design personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions that empower clients and facilitate meaningful change in their lives.
• Coordinate care with community agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
• Provide case consultations within the team to contribute insights and strategies that enhance client care.
• Document treatment plans, clinical notes, and disposition planning accurately, ensuring compliance with medical record policies.
• Actively participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Your work will primarily focus on adult and geriatric clients, with plans to extend services to children and adolescents in the future. You will adeptly navigate the complexities of mental health challenges faced by these groups and employ evidence-based therapeutic approaches to support their journey towards wellness.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
• A solid foundation in various theoretical and clinical models of therapy, with the ability to adapt approaches to individual client needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of trust and rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with industry standards.

While not mandatory, the following experience will be advantageous:

• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Familiarity with community resources such as mental health services, educational support, and vocational rehabilitation.
• Previous experience advocating for clients within healthcare and community settings.
