  • Own the design and configuration of Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) supporting a major website build.
  • Work across Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), XDM, AEM, data mapping, analytics configuration, and executive reporting.
  • Influence how customer journey data is structured, validated, measured, and translated into actionable business insights.

About the Role

We are seeking a Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) Specialist to support the design, implementation, configuration, and reporting of Customer Journey Analytics alongside a major website build.
The successful candidate will join during the technical architecture phase and play a critical role through the website launch and subsequent performance assessment.
This position will bridge website development, Adobe Experience Platform data architecture, CJA configuration, analytics governance, and business reporting.

The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on CJA expertise with an understanding of AEP, XDM schemas, data validation, web analytics, attribution, segmentation, and dashboard development.

Key Responsibilities

CJA Solution Design

  • Design the CJA solution architecture in alignment with website and analytics requirements.
  • Define and validate data mappings between the third-party web development platform and CJA.
  • Design Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) schemas and map required XDM fields.
  • Validate incoming data within the AEP data lake before it is made available in CJA.
  • Collaborate with web development and technical architecture teams to ensure analytics requirements are incorporated into the website build.
  • Support future-state Datastream configuration to capture data from Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

CJA Configuration

  • Configure and maintain CJA connections.
  • Create and configure data views based on business and reporting requirements.
  • Establish component naming conventions and configure persistence, attribution, and session settings.
  • Create and manage derived fields and calculated metrics.
  • Configure filters, segments, calculated metrics, and date ranges.
  • Establish appropriate user roles, permissions, and analytics access controls.
  • Validate configurations and ensure CJA implementation supports accurate and consistent reporting.

Dashboard & Reporting

  • Develop and manage an executive-level CJA dashboard.
  • Build conversion funnel and content-conversion reporting, with an appropriately focused initial implementation for 2027.
  • Develop a Site Health Dashboard with key performance indicators and trend reporting.
  • Translate customer journey and website performance data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Support post-launch performance assessment and identify opportunities to improve measurement, reporting, and customer journey visibility.

Required Qualifications:

Domain

  • Hands-on experience implementing and managing Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA).
  • Strong understanding of digital analytics, customer journey measurement, website analytics, and performance reporting.
  • Experience supporting analytics implementations within website or digital transformation programs.

Adobe Experience Platform

  • Practical experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
  • Strong understanding of XDM schema design, field mapping, and data validation.
  • Experience working with AEP data and validating data before downstream analytics consumption.
  • Understanding of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and web data collection is highly valuable.

CJA Configuration

  • Experience configuring CJA connections and data views.
  • Strong knowledge of component configuration, persistence, attribution, and session settings.
  • Experience creating derived fields, calculated metrics, filters, segments, and date ranges.
  • Experience managing CJA user roles and permissions.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Experience designing executive dashboards and KPI reporting.
  • Strong understanding of conversion funnels, content performance, site health metrics, and trend analysis.
  • Ability to translate technical analytics configurations into meaningful business reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, AEM, Datastreams, and Adobe Experience Platform data services.
  • Experience supporting website launches or large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working with third-party web development teams and technical architecture teams.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and requirements-gathering skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively from technical architecture through post-launch optimization.

Engagement Timeline:

The role is expected to begin during the technical architecture phase in September and remain actively involved through website launch and post-launch performance assessment in June 2027.
