This role is primarily remote, providing flexibility to manage your schedule while ensuring client needs are met effectively. You will join a collaborative team of mental health professionals who emphasize communication and teamwork, engaging in regular virtual meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and develop best practices. Our commitment to work-life balance is reflected in our operational hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorders, including observations of their emotional well-being, behavioral patterns, and coping mechanisms.
• Craft individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, defining specific therapeutic goals that reflect their unique situations and aspirations.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address mood disorders.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment strategies, and self-care approaches to empower them in their recovery journeys.
• Monitor client progress throughout therapy, using feedback to adapt treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Work in an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, ensuring that clients receive holistic support including medication management from psychiatrists.
• Continuously enhance your knowledge of mood disorders by engaging with current research and clinical advancements, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Document all client sessions and treatment plans meticulously while adhering to legal and ethical guidelines to maintain confidentiality.
• Participate in regular case consultations and training sessions to expand clinical competencies and stay informed on emerging treatment methodologies.
• Serve as a committed advocate for clients, promoting awareness and understanding of mental health issues within the community.

Your primary focus will be on patients experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will engage with a variety of individuals coming from different backgrounds, each with unique stories and individual challenges. This position allows you to effect meaningful change in the lives of those who may feel overwhelmed by their feelings, guiding them towards a path of recovery and fulfillment.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based techniques for treating mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.
• A solid awareness of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with medical professionals.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for nurturing, effective tpatient interactions.
• Strong diagnostic skills combined with a solution-focused approach to client care.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion within mental health practice.

• Previous experience working with mood disorders in an outpatient or community mental health setting.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic tools and techniques tailored specifically to mood disorders.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and tracking client progress.
• Familiarity with teletherapy practices and virtual care methodologies.

Premier Medical Resources Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
