• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat, employing various therapeutic techniques to enhance client mental health.
• Encourage open discussions around emotions and personal experiences, helping clients gain insight into their behaviors and relationships.
• Act as an advocate for clients, assisting them in recognizing and setting achievable mental health goals.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations of clients’ mental health conditions, utilizing your clinical expertise to develop and implement tailored treatment plans.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans as required, ensuring that each client receives optimal care based on their evolving needs.

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential in the state of Michigan; please note that limited or provisional licenses are not acceptable.
• Demonstrated ability to make informed professional evaluations and recommendations for effective treatment planning.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong empathetic nature to build rapport with clients.
• Proficient in utilizing technology, including telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

• Experience in teletherapy or remote counseling practices is highly desired.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Background in working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competence in therapy.
