Job description

Position Overview

Advocate Mind Health is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time capacity, working remotely from Brandon, Florida. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who is passionate about mental health and is committed to fostering the well-being of diverse individuals and families.

About the Organization

At Advocate Mind Health, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional mental health care within our community health clinic setting. Our mission is to empower clients through evidence-based practices tailored to their unique needs. We are a team of dedicated professionals who believe in the importance of collaboration and support, not just for our clients but also for our staff. Join us in our commitment to creating an environment where compassionate care leads to transformative outcomes.

Work Environment

This position offers a flexible remote work environment, allowing you to design your schedule while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our outpatient mental health clinic is fully equipped with advanced technology and resources to assist you in delivering high-quality care. You will collaborate virtually with fellow mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring that comprehensive care is a priority for all of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand patients' mental health challenges and developing personalized treatment plans that employ evidence-based therapies.
  • Utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques, ensuring they align with individual patient needs.
  • Documenting all client interactions and treatment progress meticulously to comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain the highest ethical standards in clinical practices.
  • Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to foster integrative treatment strategies, participating in regular case consultations and peer reviews to enhance patient care quality.
  • Providing ongoing education and support to clients and their families about mental health topics and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their care.
  • Staying informed about the latest research and trends in mental health care, integrating new knowledge into your practice to improve therapeutic outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other mental health issues. Our clinic values inclusivity and strives to meet clients where they are in their mental health journeys, providing compassionate and tailored support to help them achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid License to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience specifically providing psychotherapy services.
  • In-depth knowledge of evidence-based treatment methodologies and therapeutic interventions.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients effectively.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to craft effective and individualized treatment strategies.
  • A collaborative mindset, demonstrating the ability to work successfully within multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is three years of experience, candidates with experience in specialized therapies or working with certain populations (e.g., trauma survivors, children, or the elderly) will find their applications particularly welcome. Familiarity with digital documentation systems used for clinical record-keeping will be a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Advocate Mind Health offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year. In addition to this, we provide a robust benefits package that includes:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance to support your health and well-being.
  • Life and disability insurance for added peace of mind.
  • Malpractice insurance and coverage for professional liability, allowing you to focus on care without concerns about legal repercussions.
  • Access to an employee assistance program that offers mental health support and counseling services.
  • An unlimited referral system to ensure that our LCSWs have a steady stream of patients, facilitating meaningful engagement.
  • Minimal paperwork requirements, allowing for more clinical time focused on direct client care.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Advocate Mind Health, we believe in nurturing our staff's professional development. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will have opportunities for continuing education, specialized training, and potential leadership roles within the organization. Our commitment to career advancement is matched by our mission to equip our social workers with the tools they need for success in their clinical practices.
