What You Can Expect

The Corporate Development Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Marvell's inorganic growth strategy. This individual will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and execute M&A, investment and partnership opportunities aligned with Marvell's long-term strategic objectives. The role demands a strategic and analytical thinker with expertise in financial analysis and a passion for the technology industry.
Key Responsibilities

  • Support Marvell's Corporate Development strategy by performing financial analyses, including but not limited to valuation, accretion/dilution, contribution analysis, and IRR.
  • Monitor and summarize financial research on industry peers and companies for senior leadership.
  • Track and manage analytics and dashboards for acquisition, investment and partnership efforts.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to develop business cases and strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with business teams to identify and prioritize strategic gaps, evaluate build/buy/partner options, and recommend target selection criteria.
  • Facilitate and coordinate all phases of M&A activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging with external advisors.
  • Implement and refine processes to ensure world-class execution standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Progressive experience in top-tier investment banking, private equity, corporate development or finance roles, with a focus on the technology sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and M&A analysis, including deal structures and related considerations.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Highly driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about technology, with curiosity and a commitment to excellence.

Work Location and Policy

This role ison-site only, based at one of Marvell's California offices:

  • Santa Clara, CA (Silicon Valley HQ)
  • Irvine, CA (Orange County)

Because of the high level of executive interaction and collaboration with engineering and business leadership, in-office presence is required.Remote or hybrid applicants will not be considered.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

150,770 - 225,900, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
