Job description

Position Overview
Doppio - a leading Infor Alliance and Delivery Partner in North America - is seeking a Principal Consultant - Manufacturing to join our solutions delivery team. This person will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve optimal use of their Infor ERP system. This Principal Consultant will apply their expertise in translating business requirements into integrated solutions so that our clients have optimal functionality of their system, ensuring data integration and automation. Our ideal candidate has a robust understanding of Infor M3, the components of Manufacturing ERP systems, and is able to develop and lead Implementation, Migration, Configuration, Testing, and Training efforts.
More specifically, here is what you will be doing:
  • Working with clients to thoroughly understand and document their business process requirements
  • Recommending Infor M3 configuration changes and customizations to our clients to help them improve efficiencies and meet their business needs
  • Turning requirements into seamlessly integrated solutions and comprehensive design specifications for our technical team
  • Developing end-to-end manufacturing process flow documentation
  • Configuring all aspects of the M3 Manufacturing modules in accordance with customer requirements and/or Implementation Accelerator (IA) best practices
  • Leading and/or assisting with the development of testing scripts and scenarios
  • Training the process owners (end users) in M3 manufacturing functions
  • Advising clients on a variety of topics including best practices (e.g., master data management, data governance in a manufacturing execution setting (MES))
  • Applying your honed relationship management skills to help build long-lasting client relationships
  • Mentoring more junior team members

You are motivated by being able to lend our expertise to clients who rely on you to guide them in setting up and maintaining their ERP system in a manner that accelerates their Manufacturing processes. Your success has come from your ability to combine your technical craft with supreme relationship management skills.

  • 10-15 years of experience with Manufacturing systems of record, which includes detailed understanding of the following areas:
    • Product costing
    • Product structures
    • Attribute control
    • Manufacturing order types and processing
    • Production statistics
    • Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP)
    • Equipment & component control
    • Maintenance performance and Scheduling
    • Work Order processing
    • Capacity management
    • Manufacturing Execution
    • Product Data Management
    • Maintenance Management
    • Quality Management
    • Process manufacturing:
      • Flow Order Management
      • Recipe Management
      • Batch Management
      • Traceability
    • Mixed-mode manufacturing
  • 5+ years of Infor M3 Manufacturing application implementation and configuration experience
  • 5+ years in a consulting environment
  • Hands-on experience training users to work with the M3 Manufacturing programs
  • Proven track record of collecting Client requirements and turning them into seamlessly integrated solutions that automate business processes
  • Experience advising clients on data management best practices
  • Ability to successfully migrate/integrate data, which includes planning the approach and trouble-shooting when migrations/integrations encounter challenges
  • Proven track record in configuring systems that request business process requirements
  • Experience developing and executing testing plans
  • Experience and comfort level with leading and/or overseeing end-using training
