Job description

Job Description

The Role

The Marketing Applied Sciences (MAS) team develops analytics-driven solutions that help GM organizations achieve their business goals. As the Media Performance Strategist, you will manage end-to-end media measurement and insight delivery for Customer Care and Aftersales. You will use media data across TV, streaming, display, paid search, paid social, and other channels to shape media strategy, budget allocation, and broader marketing decisions. Working within a cross-functional analytics squad, you will build measurement frameworks, advance attribution and marketing mix modeling (MMM) capabilities, and communicate actionable recommendations that improve brand performance.

What You'll Do

  • Lead delivery of MMM and media measurement insights for Corporate Brands, quantifying the sales and brand impact of media and recommending budget and media-mix optimizations across channels.

  • Elevate MMM findings into strategic, consultative recommendations and communicate complex analytical stories in ways that translate into measurable actions.

  • Independently analyze media and digital platform data to uncover performance trends, conversion drivers, and optimization opportunities across the marketing funnel.

  • Design and refine measurement methodologies, including MMM, attribution models, and High Value Behaviors, while ensuring data integrity, capture and tagging standards, and consistent campaign application.

  • Lead monthly and ad hoc reporting on media KPIs, funnel performance, ROI, and brand engagement, synthesizing findings for brand stakeholders and media partners.

  • Embed media taxonomy and marketing governance standards into MMM and media storytelling while partnering with stakeholders to prioritize critical marketing and media questions.

  • Deliver compelling presentations and dashboards that align with business objectives and make insights accessible to technical and non-technical audiences.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Communications, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing analytics, media strategy, marketing mix modeling, attribution, or performance measurement.

  • Hands-on experience with MMM or multi-touch attribution and performance media measurement.

  • Experience using analytical software tools and packages, including analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics and MarTech platforms such as Google Campaign Manager or Meta Ads Manager.

  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets, with experience creating and managing dashboards in Power BI.

  • Strong problem-structuring, analytical, and strategic thinking skills, including the ability to integrate data from multiple sources into a cohesive point of view.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analytical work into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong interpersonal and project leadership skills, including the ability to manage timelines and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external agencies on planning, budgeting, and campaign optimization.

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience applying both MMM and multi-touch attribution across a broad range of media channels and marketing objectives.

  • Experience developing media taxonomies, marketing governance standards, data capture requirements, and measurement frameworks.

  • Experience partnering with brand marketing, media planning, and external agency teams to influence strategy, budget allocation, and campaign optimization.

  • Experience working with large, complex consumer brands or within the automotive industry.
