Silver Lining Counseling, LLC is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our team in Plano, Texas. This full-time position offers flexibility through a fully remote work setting, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. The work schedule typically spans Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts needed to accommodate the needs of our patients. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of therapists and psychiatrists, benefitting from a culture that emphasizes professional growth and shared learning.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to ascertain the needs of children and adolescents, employing standardized testing and interviews.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that take into account the unique emotional, social, and developmental needs of each young patient.
• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic sessions, utilizing cognitive-behavioral techniques, play therapy, and family therapy approaches aimed at creating effective communication and trust.
• Provide timely crisis intervention during instances of mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of all patients involved.
• Engage families by delivering therapeutic sessions to caregivers, providing them with essential tools to create nurturing home environments conducive to the mental health of their children.
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and therapists for a coordinated approach to patient care, sharing insights and adjustments in treatment as needed.
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of patient progress, adhering to best practices in legal and ethical standards.
• Actively participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development sessions to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health.

This role emphasizes working with children and adolescents dealing with an array of mental health challenges. A significant focus will be on providing care to young clients facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders, necessitating a compassionate and resilient approach. You will be instrumental in helping youths navigate their mental health journeys, strengthening their coping skills and emotional resilience.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC or LMFT in the state of Texas.
• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders along with evidence-based treatment practices.
• Proven experience in providing both individual and family therapy, particularly with young clients.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on creating a child-centered and family-oriented therapeutic relationship.
• A commitment to professionalism and ethical practice, alongside proficiency in electronic health record systems and related technologies.

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting.
• Experience implementing family therapy sessions and collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams.
• Proficiency in crisis management and intervention strategies.

The position offers an annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, a sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.
