This position primarily focuses on individuals facing struggles with substance use disorders, encompassing a diverse demographic looking for supportive guidance and treatment. You will work closely with patients who may be dealing with addiction to alcohol, opioids, stimulants, and other substances, addressing both their psychological and emotional needs. The therapeutic environment fosters a non-judgmental and supportive atmosphere crucial for facilitating recovery.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or Psychologist in the state of California.
• Demonstrated knowledge of substance use disorders and familiarity with treatment methodologies that promote recovery-oriented care.
• Proven experience in delivering both individual and group therapy within an addiction treatment framework.
• Excellent communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient interactions.
• Strong adherence to ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and relevant technology resources.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health or addiction treatment setting is preferred, with direct exposure to evidence-based therapeutic models.
• Expertise in crisis intervention techniques and experience in managing acute substance-related issues.
• Background in community outreach and patient education initiatives would be advantageous.
