• Conduct thorough intake assessments to gather psycho-social data from clients, families, and relevant stakeholders, laying the foundation for effective treatment planning.
• Apply principles from the mental health recovery model, ensuring that each client’s strengths and abilities are emphasized throughout their treatment journey.
• Collaborate closely with medical professionals and other clinicians to develop and implement crisis intervention and comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques while adapting to diverse client backgrounds and challenges.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment goals, and session notes in accordance with organizational policies and regulations.
• Engage in continuous education and professional development to enhance your clinical skills and techniques, ensuring current best practices are implemented in therapy.

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will primarily work with adults, children, and adolescents who are facing various mental health issues, including addiction. Your expertise will be vital in developing supportive therapeutic relationships, offering grief counseling and addiction support, helping clients navigate their recovery pathways, and uplifting their overall mental wellness. You will play a crucial role in guiding clients toward healthier coping strategies and improved life satisfaction.

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field.
• Current and active licensure in mental health counseling (LMHC) in Washington State.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working in mental health settings, particularly focused on addiction and recovery.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities and counseling techniques, with a focus on grief and addiction counseling preferred.

• Experience working with diverse populations, including children and adolescents, is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and adapt treatment plans based on client feedback and progress.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate accurate documentation and reporting.
• Experience collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team to enhance client care.
