About the Opportunity:
This role will serve as the business-facing product owner to support Salesforce platforms and related capabilities, acting as the bridge between stakeholders and technology teams to deliver scalable, customer-focused solutions.
The Product Owner will be responsible for translating business priorities into Salesforce product enhancements, supporting the Salesforce backlog, and executing delivery of solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and related integrations. This role will ensure Salesforce capabilities align with business goals, user needs, and operational efficiency while supporting roadmap execution from discovery through launch and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do:
  • Translate requirements and support product roadmap for Salesforce solutions, aligned with organizational goals and user needs.
  • Serve as the primary business representative for Salesforce initiatives, ensuring customer and stakeholder needs are reflected in product decisions.
  • Partner with business teams to understand priorities and translate them into clear user stories, process requirements, and backlog items.
  • Maintain and execute a prioritized Salesforce product backlog across enhancements, defects, integrations, and operational improvements.
  • Develop detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows for Salesforce capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with Salesforce developers, administrators, architects, and QA teams to coordinate releases.
  • Support delivery of Salesforce enhancements across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and connected systems.
  • Evaluate technical feasibility of proposed features and partner with technical teams on solution options and trade-offs.
  • Maintain understanding of Salesforce data model, automation tools, reporting, integrations, and security model.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, backlog grooming sessions, sprint planning, demos, and release readiness activities.
  • Coordinate UAT activities, provide business walkthroughs, and support adoption of new Salesforce functionality.
  • Monitor in-flight Salesforce initiatives and provide regular status updates, risks, and dependency visibility.
  • Identify recurring operational pain points, and recommend scalable Salesforce workflow improvements.
  • Ensure project artifacts, requirements documentation, and communications are complete and consistent.
  • Support continuous improvement of Salesforce processes, workflows, and user experience.

Your Experience:
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of Product Owner, Business Analyst, or related experience supporting enterprise platforms
  • Hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform in a business-facing product or BA capacity
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, reporting, flows, and integrations
  • Experience supporting backlogs, writing user stories, and working in Agile / Scrum environments
  • Experience partnering with developers, admins, and business stakeholders to deliver Salesforce solutions
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Desired
  • Salesforce certifications (Admin, Business Analyst, Product Owner, or related)
  • Experience with eCommerce or customer portal solutions on Salesforce
  • Familiarity with integrations, APIs, middleware, and data migration projects
