As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Remote Mental Health Counselor include but are not limited to:

• Conducting individualized counseling sessions via video chat to support clients in improving their mental health.
• Encouraging open discussions about feelings and experiences to aid clients in gaining insight into their identities and relationships.
• Acting as an advocate for clients by helping them articulate their goals and define actionable steps toward achieving better mental health outcomes.
• Assessing the mental health status of clients and utilizing your clinical expertise to develop and implement treatment plans that employ solution-focused methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with low-acuity, stable adult clients who have been carefully screened prior to booking services. This ensures that you can focus on providing effective therapy without the added stress of managing severe psychiatric cases. Our matching system aligns clients with the therapist’s specialties and demographic preferences, promoting effective therapeutic alliances and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in good standing, eligible for independent practice without supervision.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of relevant experience in the mental health field is required. Compensation and Benefits

At Helping Hands Mental Healthcare, we offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and hours worked. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
