Job description

Job Title: Associate Director, Commercial Insights
Location: Atlanta, GA, New York, NY, or Remote, USA
Employment Type: Full-time, Salaried
Who We Are
Impiricus is the first and only AI-powered HCP Engagement Engine. In 2025, Deloitte named Impiricus the #1 fastest growing company in North America for their prestigious Fast 500 list. Founded by a practicing physician and a senior pharmaceutical executive, Impiricus was created to transform how life sciences companies support physicians. We ethically connect HCPs to pharma resources, reduce go-to-market costs and accelerate patient access to the treatments they need.
With our unique access to the largest opted-in network of HCPs, their insights, and clinical expertise, we are the leading provider of AI technology and real-time channels that life science companies need to deliver clear, reliable, and evidence-based resources directly into the hands of HCPs. Guided by a council of 2000+ trusted HCP advisors, we ensure every interaction is clinically meaningful, ethically grounded and leads to better patient care.
Job Summary:
As Associate Director, Commercial Insights at Impiricus, you will be the hands-on engine behind our commercial analytics work. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Data & Analytics, you will own our most complex and highest-visibility analyses.
This is a true player-coach role on a high-performing team. The majority of your time will be spent building analyses and client-ready narratives yourself; the rest developing your analysts, tightening process, and raising the quality bar on everything the team ships. You can take an ambiguous business question, scope it, build the analysis, and present the answer to a pharma client without needing a layer of review - and you care as much about how an insight lands as whether the math is right.
Responsibilities:
  • Own complex analytics projects from scoping through analysis, insight development, and client presentation.
  • Translate campaign and engagement data into clear recommendations for pharmaceutical brand and marketing teams.
  • Present findings and strategic insights to clients, including through business reviews and executive-level presentations.
  • Manage and mentor analysts, reviewing their work for analytical rigor, accuracy, and storytelling quality.
  • Monitor campaign performance, identify trends and opportunities, and connect marketing activity to measurable outcomes.
  • Partner closely with Client Services, Sales, Product, and Operations to support client strategy, renewals, and growth.
  • Help establish a high bar for analytical quality, data visualization, and client-ready storytelling.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in business intelligence, business analytics, commercial analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience managing and/or mentoring analysts.
  • Strong client-facing experience, including presenting complex analyses and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience analyzing marketing, media, or engagement campaign performance and translating results into actionable insights.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, lookup functions, advanced formulas, and complex data organization.
  • Advanced to expert proficiency with PowerPoint or Google Slides, with the ability to independently create polished, client-ready presentations.
  • Familiarity with prescription/Rx and/or medical claims data.
  • Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, and data storytelling skills.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% for client and business needs.
  • Ability to to consistently work hours that support East Coast-based clients and team members, regardless of your location.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience supporting pharmaceutical DTC or HCP marketing/engagement campaigns.
  • Strong working knowledge of Rx and medical claims data.
  • Experience in a healthcare marketing agency, consulting firm, pharmaceutical company, media/measurement company, or healthcare technology organization.
  • Familiarity with SQL and the ability to understand or troubleshoot existing queries.
  • Experience with campaign measurement methodologies such as test vs. control, pre/post analysis, or marketing mix measurement.
  • Experience supporting Medical Affairs or other life sciences programs.

The total compensation for this role is $126,500 - $161,000.
Where you land within the range will reflect your skills, experience, and location, while keeping team parity in mind and leaving room for future growth.
Benefits:
Impiricus focuses on taking care of our teammates' professional and personal growth and well-being.
Healthcare: Medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents + on-demand healthcare concierge
HSA, FSA & DCFSA: Pre-tax savings options for healthcare and dependent care, with monthly employer contributions to HSA (if enrolled in a high-deductible plan)
Coverage & Protection: 100% paid short- and long-term disability, plus life and AD&D insurance
Flexible Time Off: Take the time you need with a flexible vacation policy - recharge your batteries your way
Parental Leave: Parental Leave: Paid parental leave to spend time with your newborn, adopted, or foster child (available after 6 months).
Your Work, Your Way: If you're close to an office, we encourage spending some time in-person to collaborate and connect. If not, remote is always an option.
Home Office Setup: We'll ship you the gear you need to create a comfortable workspace at home.
401(k): Save for your future with tax advantages (and company match!)
