Job Description
Title: Senior Calypso Java Developer
Location: Remote - MUST be able to work on Mountain Time (8 AM to 4 PM)
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Calypso Java Developer/Consultant with strong experience in Calypso development, Java, financial products, and system integrations. The candidate will be responsible for customizing Calypso, developing APIs, integrating with financial market platforms, and supporting cloud-based enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure, customize, and extend Calypso modules across FX, FX Options, interest rates, commodities, credit derivatives, market risk, and credit risk.
  • Develop and integrate solutions using Calypso API, Java REST APIs, and microservices.
  • Integrate Calypso with financial platforms such as DTCC, MarkitWire, Bloomberg TOMS/SEF, WebICE, AcadiaSoft, TriResolve, as well as SWIFT, FedWire, ACH, and General Ledger systems.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Nexus, and Terraform.
  • Deploy and support applications in AWS/Azure cloud environments, including enterprise application servers and data lake platforms.
  • Work with Java, JBoss, MQ, ETL processes, SQL, RDBMS, and data modeling.

Required Skills:
  • 10+ years of overall software/application development experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Calypso development with strong Calypso API experience.
  • Expert-level Java, REST API, SQL, RDBMS, and data modeling skills.
  • Strong knowledge of FX/Forex products, FX Options, derivatives, and market/credit risk.
  • Experience with AWS or Azure, Data Lakes, CI/CD, and microservices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred: Experience with Wall Street Systems or Spectrum is a strong plus.
