As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and crafting detailed treatment plans that align with each client's unique needs.
• Completing documentation and maintaining records in adherence to regulatory standards to ensure compliance and facilitate quality care.
• Utilizing evidence-based screening tools as drawn from our clinical protocols to assess client progress accurately.
• Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored positive behavior support plans aimed at driving client success.
• Participating actively in all licensing and accreditation initiatives to uphold the highest standards of mental health services.
• Building and maintaining communication channels with state agencies and community partners to enhance service delivery and outreach.
• Engaging in networking with local, state, and federal organizations to expand our reach and secure additional funding opportunities.
• Fostering personal and professional development through continuous learning, attending relevant workshops, conferences, and meetings pertinent to mental health standards and practices.
• Upholding and promoting the mission, values, philosophy, and principles of Bright Harbor Wellness Solutions in every interaction.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director that may support operational needs.

In this role, you will focus on a varied client population that includes individuals seeking help for emotional distress, substance use issues, and behavioral challenges. Your therapeutic approach will address each client's holistic needs, emphasizing resilience and empowerment. This allows you to create individualized care plans that consider their unique circumstances, strengths, and aspirations, facilitating their overall well-being.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in a mental health field.
• An independent LMHC license, which is essential for providing counseling services in Massachusetts.

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in outpatient mental health services, crisis intervention strategies, and familiarity with documentation systems will be highly regarded. Experience in working with interdisciplinary teams and understanding of community resources will also be beneficial.
