As a BI Data Engineer, you'll play a critical role in turning data into meaningful insights that help drive smart, confident business decisions.

You'll work across teams to build, maintain, and continuously improve our enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence environment. This role blends technical expertise with collaboration, curiosity, and a real-world impact on how our teams use data every day. In this role you'll Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions including databases, data warehouses, queries, views, reports, and dashboards.

Collect, organize, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to answer business questions and improve key business metrics. Build and maintain ETL processes, data pipelines, and integrations that ensure reliable and timely data availability. Partner closely with end users, BI Data Analysts, and software development teams to translate business needs into effective data solutions.

Support the integration of BI and analytics platforms with enterprise applications and systems. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize BI tools, data loads, and production processes to ensure performance and data accuracy. Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards are met, including maintaining metadata repositories.

Provide production support, communicate issues and resolutions to customers, and assist with ad hoc reporting needs. Develop training materials and deliver end-user training on BI tools and reports. Contribute to research and evaluation of new BI technologies and partner with Architects to recommend improvements and new solutions.

Create efficient, automated, and well-documented processes that comply with security, regulatory, and policy requirements. What we're looking for You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field (Required). An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.

You have 4+ years of related technical experience, including 3+ years working with large-scale datasets, databases, ETL, and analytics tools (Required). Experience in banking, financial services, or insurance environments is helpful (Preferred). What helps you shine You bring strong expertise in database systems, data warehousing, data modeling, and data integration techniques.

You're comfortable working with Microsoft SQL Server tools, including SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI, Fabric, and Synapse pipelines. You enjoy solving complex problems using SQL, DAX, MDX, C#, Python, and dimensional modeling techniques. You have a sharp analytical mindset and enjoy turning raw data into reliable, actionable insights.

You communicate clearly and collaborate easily, whether you're working independently or as part of a cross-functional team. You're curious and proactive about learning new technologies and continuously improving BI systems and processes.
