What you will do

Johnson Controls delivers intelligent security solutions that help customers protect people, property, and operations. In this role, you will support the Software House and American Dynamics platforms with technical expertise, implementation services, and training that help customers achieve reliable outcomes.

You will work closely with clients, dealers, system integrators, and internal teams to deploy, configure, and optimize enterprise security platforms with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.

As a Security Technical Specialist specializing in CCURE Access Control Systems, you will play a key role within the Professional Services team. You will support system design, migrations, upgrades, product feature implementation, and technical enablement for customer environments. This is a customer-facing role that combines technical depth, communication, and hands-on problem solving to help deliver successful security solutions.

How you will do it
  • Deliver technical expertise as part of the Professional Services team for CCURE Access Control Systems.

  • Support implementation services and training for Software House and American Dynamics platforms.

  • Contribute to system design, migrations, upgrades, and the implementation of product features.

  • Provide client and dealer training and ongoing technical support.

  • Deploy, configure, and optimize enterprise security platforms to support stable and secure operation.

  • Deliver technical sessions remotely and on-site for customers, dealers, and integrators.

  • Configure environments for hands-on training, testing, and migration activities.

  • Partner with Sales and system integrators to understand project requirements and demonstrate product capabilities.

  • Support professional services engagements and help minimize disruption during implementation activities.

  • Contribute to best practices and custom solutions for unique customer requirements.

  • Own the outcome with accountability, safety, and integrity in every customer engagement.

  • Stay close to the work by understanding the customer environment, removing obstacles quickly, and keeping implementations moving forward.

  • Use candid communication and continuous improvement to solve issues, strengthen solutions, and improve the customer experience.

  • Win as one team by collaborating with Sales, Professional Services, dealers, system integrators, and internal partners.

  • Use clear presentation skills to deliver effective technical sessions both remotely and on-site.

  • Set up and maintain practical training and testing environments that support migration and implementation work.

  • Document technical details, capture requirements accurately, and translate customer needs into workable solutions.

  • Balance multiple priorities with urgency while maintaining a high level of quality and professionalism.

What we look for

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

  • Strong background in Information Technology.

  • Proficiencyin SQL/T-SQL is highly desirable.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

  • Outstanding customer service and problem-solving abilities with a sense of urgency.

  • Adept at managing multiple priorities while working independently with a focus on detail.

  • Team player capable of collaborating at all levels within Johnson Controls and client organizations.

  • Willingness to travelapproximately 50-75% of the time within the United States.

  • Proficient in MicrosoftWindows,SQLdatabases, and presentation software.

Preferred

  • Experience in the Physical Security industry.

  • Knowledge of CCURE 9000 and American Dynamics Victor platforms is preferred.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $76,000- 105,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience,knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with marketdata.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group,and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
