This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your own home while providing critical services to students enrolled in local schools in Orange, California. You will have the flexibility to create your own schedule, tailoring your work hours around your caseload of appointments and ensuring that you maintain a healthy work-life balance.

• Administer virtual psychotherapy sessions to students facing mental health issues related to substance use disorders and other behavioral challenges.
• Conduct thorough assessments of students' mental health needs, developing tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address individual recovery goals.
• Maintain detailed and compliant clinical records in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure integrated patient care and maintain open lines of communication regarding patient progress.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families, helping them navigate available mental health services and community support resources.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying updated on the latest research and best practices in mental health treatment.
• Manage an active caseload while striving to meet established treatment goals and adhere to ethical standards of practice.

Your primary focus will be supporting students with complex mental health and substance use challenges. You will engage with a diverse clientele, encompassing a range of age groups and backgrounds. A primary aim of the role is to facilitate recovery and bolster emotional resilience in young individuals, helping them succeed academically and personally.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license issued by the state of California.
• At least one year of clinical experience, particularly in substance abuse therapy and working with youth populations.
• Proficiency in solution-focused therapy techniques and a strong understanding of evidence-based transitional interventions.
• Exceptional communication skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Previous experience working within school settings or with adolescents and young adults is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of local community resources for mental health and substance use support.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling services.

• Attractive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 for full-time roles and between USD 50,000 to 70,000 for part-time opportunities.
