This role is fully remote, offering flexibility within the structure of either 4x10 or 5x8 work schedules, from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. As a member of our team, you will enjoy a supportive work culture that prioritizes work-life balance, allowing you to effectively meet the varying demands of your professional and personal life. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will:

• Provide individual, group, couple, and family psychotherapy in a remote setting, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate healing and growth.
• Conduct comprehensive interviews to gather and assess clients’ social, personal, environmental, and health information to inform treatment planning.
• Evaluate client needs and diagnose mental health conditions, including mood disorders, substance use, and trauma-related issues, within your scope of practice.
• Develop and coordinate tailored treatment plans that address clients' social and emotional needs while ensuring integration with educational goals.
• Facilitate cognitive, affective, and behavioral health care and manage short-term crisis interventions effectively.
• Regularly assess and document treatment outcomes, ensuring accurate record-keeping that complies with established protocols.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, providing timely and responsive updates to clients and stakeholders as needed.
• Engage in professional development activities, including team meetings and supervision sessions, to enhance service delivery and maintain competence in best practices.

You will primarily serve a diverse group of children, adolescents, and their families, focusing on those facing challenges such as behavioral issues, emotional distress, and trauma. Your expertise will empower these individuals, guiding them in developing coping strategies and fostering resilience, ultimately contributing to their academic and personal success.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia.
• A commitment to ethical practice and a strong understanding of legal and ethical guidelines relevant to clinical social work.

While we welcome all candidates, preference will be given to those with:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical social work or a related field.
• Prior experience in a school setting or with school-based mental health programs.
• Demonstrated skill in providing counseling related to behavioral mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, and family dynamics.
