Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented 3D ORD Modeler to join our team full-time to support one of the many large transformative transportation projects that we have either won, are currently pursuing, or will pursue across the nation.
Some of the larger projects are located in the states of:
  • Tennessee
  • Georgia
  • North Carolina
  • Virginia
  • Indiana

In this role, you will help deliver the design for projects that have a construction value greater than $1 billion, and in turn assist in enhancing the mobility, safety, and reliability for communities who live along and travel through these critical corridors. This position is remote, and the selected candidate will have flexibility in work location while still supporting virtual collaboration with Parsons teams.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Develop logic-based engineering templates
  • Implement templates to create 3D models of civil projects
  • Working closely under other Designer/Modelers and Engineers to ensure a coordinated design
  • Utilizing advanced computer modeling software to optimize and solve three-dimensional civil engineering transportation problems

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in 3D modeling for civil or transportation projects
  • High School Diploma required
  • A desire to solve problems and work independently
  • Strong math and spatial skills
  • Experience with Microstation is required.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Experience with programming and/or scripting languages is a plus
  • Bachelors in Civil Technology, Civil Engineering Modeling, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is a plus
