Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Delivering ethical and empathetic mental health counseling sessions via video chat, ensuring a comfortable environment for client discussions.
• Conducting thorough assessments of clients’ needs and mental health statuses to develop tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances and goals.
• Assisting clients in building effective coping mechanisms, problem-solving abilities, and enhanced communication skills aimed at achieving their personal milestones.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position emphasizes support for stable, low-acuity adult clients who are seeking improvement in their mental health. You will work closely with individuals facing minor to moderate mental health challenges, helping them to navigate their journey toward better mental wellness.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Candidates must possess a current state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or a PsyD.
• Independent licensure without supervision is essential, alongside a clean disciplinary record.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and proficiency in using digital platforms for therapy are crucial; candidates must also have a stable internet connection.

Preferred Experience

While the required qualifications are crucial, experience in providing mental health counseling in a teletherapy setting or familiarity with digital health platforms will be highly regarded.
